Documents required and procedure for shipping a vehicle to Spain
To ship a vehicle betwenn Spain and the UK or from the UK to Spain you will need to provide us with the following information, this is a legal requirement and as such we cannot ship any vehicle until all documentation has been received.
1. Copy or original of the vehicle log book V5
2. Copy of passport of the person handing the vehicle over to us.
3. Under Spanish law you are required to carry all documentation with the vehicle whilst travelling in Spain i.e. log book, insurance certificate, MOT and driving licence. Please be aware that if you do not carry these documents you can incur heavy fines and even have your vehicle impounded.
4. Your vehicle is insured by us whilst it is on the car transporter, however when the vehicle is on the road then the insurance becomes the responsibility of the owner. Any goods within the vehicle are not insured by us.
